15 Students Completed the Training for Educators for Nature Tourism (ENTs)

Last 5 February 2019, fifteen (15) students completed the training for the Educators for Nature Tourism (ENTs) held at the Toyota Environment Education Theater (TEET) of the Makiling Botanic Gardens (MBG). The new batch of ENTs are now equipped and ready to serve as guide in MBG. ENTs provide either short or long guided tours and discusses information of what can be seen in the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park (MMFR AHP) especially the MBG.

Forester Angela A. Limpiada, University Extension Associate II of MBG facilitated the one day training. The training includes classroom type discussion and real tour-guiding experience. The participants of the training came from different courses such as Certificate in Forestry and BS Forestry, BS Development Communication, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the University of the Philippines Los Banos (UPLB).
