BGPED visits the Hundred Islands National Park

The Botanic Gardens, Parks and Ecotourism Division (BGPED) of the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystem (MCME) started 2019 with an enriching workshop and planning activity last January 2 to 4 at the Hundred Islands National Park, one of the oldest national parks in the Philippines. Headed by Rogelio T. Andrada II, the division is composed of 11 staff namely: Joseph Bongcay, Isagani Bunal, Arthuro Castillo, Hermogenes Laad, Angela Limpiada, Analyn Malayba, Gil Menorca, Reslie Niem, Reden Rodriguez, Elpidio Tejano, and Marvin Torio.

The aim of the activity was to have a year-end assessment as well as to set the tone for 2019 BGPED activities. Moreover, the BGPED staff got to observe the various activities being done by another protected area.
