Isuzu Supplier’s Association hand in hand in tree planting #adoptaforest

Last 30 September 2017, the Isuzu Supplier’s Association (ISA) conducted their annual tree planting and nurturing activity. ISA is part of the Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) which is one of the corporate partners of the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) in the Tree Planting and Nurturing Activity of the Center. This is part of the Isuzu “Adopt A Forest” Project located inside the Makiling Botanic Gardens (MBG). The project started in 2010 when the company adopted a 13-hectare forest area of the Dipterocarp arboretum. From then on, IPC and ISA annually conducts its Corporate Social Responsibility in the area.

 

A total of twenty (20) ISA employees participated in the activity. They planted a total of 100 dipterocarp seedlings of two (2) species, namely: Dalingdingan (Hopea foxworthyi Elmer) and Guijo (Shorea guiso (Blanco) Blume).
