Thai Embassy Celebrated King Vajiralongkorn’s 67th birthday at the Makiling Botanic Gardens

The Thai Embassy led by Ms. Urawadee Sriphiromya, Charge D’ Affaires of the Embassy, celebrated the 67th year of King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun at the Makiling Botanic Gardens (MBG) on 30 July 2018.  In his honor, the Thai Embassy in collaboration with the Mariwasa Siam Ceramics Inc., conducted a tree planting activity.

A total of 67 seedlings of native and endemic species were planted at the Flora Filipiniana.  Flora Filipiniana is a new theme garden of native trees collected at the different parts of the Philippines and part of the Biodiversity Conservation Program funded by ERDB-DENR.

Present during the event were employees of Mariwasa and Public Company Limited (PTT) Oil and Gas Company led by Mr. Ekaluck Praemoung, Mariwasa Thai Assistant Vice President for Corporate Human Resources, International Student Association led by Director Eleno O. Peralta of the Office of the Student Affairs, Dean Jose V. Camacho of UPLB Graduate School, Director Simplicio M. Medina of Office of International Linkages and Director Roberto G. Visco of the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems.
