The Australian Ambassador visits the Makiling Botanic Gardens

Australian Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Amanda Gorely paid a visit on the Makiling Botanical Gardens (MBG) on 14 June 2016 for a Tree Planting Project together with the Philippine Australian Alumni Association, Inc. The ambassador was welcomed by the MCME Director, Dr. Nathaniel C. Bantayan. The Ambassador, together with the Philippine Australian Alumni Association, Inc., an organization of scholars and graduates from Australia’s premier academic institutions, planted some of the Philippine indigenous tree species in the Makiling Botanic Gardens. Ambassador Gorely is the 8th ambassador to plant a tree in the Makiling Botanic Gardens.
