After three years, the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) through the Botanic Gardens, Parks, and Ecotourism Division (BGPED) conducted again the training on Educators for Nature Tourism. The said training includes a lecture about the interpretation program, the importance of the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park (MMFR AHP), and a short demonstration talk by each participant about any species of flora and fauna of their choice. The resource person for the said activity was For. Angela A. Limpiada. The training was conducted on 15 May 2023, at the Toyota Environment Education Theatre (TEET) at the Makiling Botanic Gardens. The training was attended by 19 UPLB students. The participants came from several courses, including Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Philippines Los Banos’ College of Forestry and Natural Resources and College of Arts and Sciences, respectively.
