Last 22 July 2020, For. Leonardo D. Barua, University Extension Specialist II of the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems of the College of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of the Philippines Los Baños, served as speaker to Forestry Development Center’s first webinar on the topic Geographic Information towards Policy and Decision Making from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. via Zoom. The webinar is part of Forestry Development Center’s FOREST POLICY e-TALKS: FDC Webinar Series of 2020 and co-organized by UP REPS Division 4 (College of Forestry and Natural Resources and Museum of Natural History).
The webinar was also streamed live at FDC’s facebook page with around 800 viewers. For. Barua holds a Master of Science degree on Natural Resources Conservation with specialization on Geographic Information System.
