On 25 October 2025, the UPLB Media Communication Office (UPLB MCO), in collaboration with the Philippine Association of Communication Educators (PACE), held a tree-planting activity at the Makiling Botanic Gardens. The event, which highlights the importance of communication educators in enhancing awareness and sustainability, was attended by communication teachers, students, and principals from various academic institutions. Moreover, this event promotes the integration of environmental values in communication education, underscoring collective action towards biodiversity conservation. This green partnership shows the strong commitment of UPLB MCO and PACE in fostering sustainable practices and shared environmental responsibility among communication educators.
