On 29-30 January 2026, the British School Manila (BSM) visited the Makiling Botanic Gardens and explored the Mariang Makiling Trail within the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park. They were welcomed by Foresters Angela Limpiada and Alexis Fajardo, as well as the Educators for Nature Tourism (ENTs). These two-day visits featured activities such as a garden tour, creative tent pitching, artistic construction of a mini bridge, and hiking. Through guided discussion and direct observation, the garden and trail experience provided learning opportunities for the BSM students, strengthening environmental education, enhancing experiential learning, and equipping students with practical insights, deepening their appreciation and understanding of our biodiversity.
