MakiPasyal, one of the activities of the week-long celebration of the 115th Anniversary of the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve (MMFR), was held last 20 November 2025 wherein visitors were encouraged to visit and explore the MMFR through the Mariang Makiling Trail. Geocache items were hidden along the trail for the visitors to find.
During the opening program, led by For. Alexis John T. Fajardo, the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems welcomed the first visitors who came from the City Environment and Natural Resources Office of Sto. Tomas City, Batangas. It was followed by a warm-up activity by For. Angela A. Limpiada.
