FAMTour or familiarization tour was conducted last 06 December 2017 at the Makiling Botanic Gardens (MBG). This was facilitated by For. Roberto P. Cereno, University Extension Specialist IV of the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) and the current Director of the Training Center for Tropical Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability (TREES). For. Cereno is an expert on Ecotourism Management.
A total of thirty-three (33) visitors, fifteen (15) females and eighteen (18) males attended the FAMTour. They were mostly teachers, reporters, broadcasters, writers, columnists, researchers, correspondents, journalists and editorial members of different Media groups in Luzon.They toured around the garden that lasted for more than one hour.
The guests were all happy with the tour and went home equipped with new information about MBG.
