The Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) is pleased to announce the promotion of For. Geine Joseph DM. Esguerra to Special Police Lieutenant and For. Milles V. Llamas to Administrative Officer II. They officially took their oath on 17 August 2026, in the presence of Dr. Lerma SJ. Maldia, MCME Director, alongside their witness, For. Arnulfo D. Yanoria, Head of the Makiling Forest Reserve Protection and Regulation Unit (MFRPRU), and Ms. Isadora S. Opulencia, Administrative Assistant II of the General Administrative Services (GAS).
For. Esguerra will continue serving within the MFRPRU, upholding the laws and policies that govern the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park (MMFR AHP). Meanwhile, For. Llamas will remain with GAS, ensuring the seamless administrative tasks and support services of the center.
