MCME goes to Barangay San Vicente, Sto. Tomas, Batangas for its Ugnayan sa Pamayanan

The Social Forestry Division (SFD) of the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) conducted its Ugnayan sa Pamayanan in Barangay San Vicente, Sto. Tomas, Batangas last 28 August 2018. Ugnayan sa Pamayanan was one of the division’s projects which aims to discuss the problems with the communities that surrounds Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park (MMFR AHP).

A total of 25 attended and participated the activity. They are either members of different farmer groups or barangay officials. Issues in the Batangas side of MMFR AHP were discussed and addressed properly.

Arizala, University Extension Specialist II (UES II); For. Leonardo D. Barua, University Extension Specialist II (UES II); and Ms. Gillian Katherine L. Inciong, University Research Associate II (URA II).
