The Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) held its annual strategic planning workshop on September 6-7, 2024. The two-day event aimed to foster stronger relationships among staff, creating a more cohesive and efficient working environment. It also sought to improve communication, encourage leadership, and build trust within the Center. The workshop took place at Lawas Resort, Lobo, Batangas. The event was led by Dr. Lerma SJ. Maldia, the Director, and Prof. Juancho B. Balatibat, the Deputy Director of MCME.
The program, hosted by For. Angela A. Limpiada and Mr. Romer P. Mada, began with a prayer by For. Mae Belen L. Putian, followed by a welcome message from Prof. Balatibat. For. Valeriana D. Barredo-Parducho discussed the house rules, after which team-building games were facilitated by Foresters Myranel S. Canceran and Karla Jane P. Gonzalvo.
The participants enjoyed the workshop and left re-energized, ready to tackle their work with renewed vigor and a strengthened team spirit.
