The Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) warmly welcomes Ms. Rueth Cabral, the newest member of its research team.
Ms. Cabral took her oath of office on 6 October 2025 before Dr. Lerma S.J. Maldia, Director of MCME, alongside For. Myranel S. Canceran, Head of the Extension Linkages and Decision Support (ELDS) Unit, and Ms. Ofelia F. Manasan, Head of General Administrative Services.
As part of the ELDS Unit, Ms. Cabral will contribute her expertise in information and technology, research support, and extension and linkages initiatives. Her role will be instrumental in strengthening MCME’s efforts to promote knowledge exchange, enhance information management systems, and advance collaborative projects aligned with the Center’s mandate of sustainable mountain ecosystem management.
