The Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park (MMFR AHP), has officially reopened its popular attractions, including the Mariang Makiling Trail (MMT) and the Makiling Botanic Gardens (MBG) in Los Baños, Laguna.

The MMFR was temporarily closed on 16 November 2024 as a precautionary measure due to the approach of Super Typhoon Pepito. Fortunately, Los Baños and nearby areas were spared from severe damage, allowing these natural treasures to reopen for visitors.
