Murraya paniculata (L.) Jack. popularly known as Kamuning is the Makiling Botanic Gardens Plant of the Month for December 2018. Kamuning belongs to family Rutaceae. In other countries, it is known as “orange jasmine” or “orange jessamine.” It is native to Southeast Asia and China. Kamuning is used as a traditional medicine that can relieve pain. It can be propagated using seeds or cuttings.
