The Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) supports Wildlife Conservation. One of its recent efforts is to showcase wildlife found in Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park (MMFR AHP) through the WILDLIFE OF THE MONTH (WOM). This is part of the communication, education, and public awareness efforts of the Center aimed to inform the public regarding the conservation status of the featured wildlife and to encourage them to be part of its protection and conservation. This is our take on this year’s theme for World Wildlife Day, “Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation.”
