In celebration of the 112th anniversary of the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve (MMFR), the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) organized an MMFR Fun Walk 2022 on 29 November 2022. The Fun Walk was participated in by the MCME staff and other staff from the different units of the College of Forestry and Natural Resources as well as members of the Educators for Nature Tourism (ENTs). The MMFR’s Mariang Makiling Trail (MMT) Station 1 served as the starting point of the participants for the fun walk and the end point at MMT Station 7. As a token of appreciation, shirts were provided to each participant.
After the fun walk, the MCME staff held a “salo-salo” and a raffle at the Makiling Botanic Gardens.
