Last September 7, 2018 the Philippine Geothermal Production Company, Inc.(PGPC) donated 12 packs of first aid kits to the Ecoguides of Sto. Tomas, Batangas through the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME). The kits will prove very useful in providing immediate and temporary medical care to visitors who will encounter minor medical problems.
It was highlighted during the brief program held at the Municipal Agri-park and Organic Learning Center in Brgy. San Vicente, that the request was made during the post evaluation meeting of the annual Make It Makiling! Visitor Management Program. The program also included a demonstration on providing first aid care using the kits provided by PGPC.
Mr. Eric John Edric T. Layumas of PGPC demonstrated the use of the first aid kit.
Present during the ceremony were: PGPC Public Affairs Supervisor Victor E. Dugan, and Mr. John Edric T. Layumas of PGPC together with Forester Rolly V. Breva and Deputy Director Rogelio T. Andrada II of MCME.
