The Makiling Botanic Gardens presents “Sainat” as the Plant of the Month for November 2017. Schefflera blancoi Merr. or commonly known as sainat and sometimes called as abkal or sagaba belongs to family Araliaceae. It is endemic to the Philippines, in the islands of Luzon and Mindanao.
