DNPH signs MOA for MMFR’s Corporate Partnership for Environmental Restoration Program (CPERP)

DENSO Philippines Corporation (DNPH) recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the University of the Philippines Los Baños Foundation, Inc. (UPLBFI). This is for a tree planting and nurturing project between DNPH and UPLB through the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems (MCME) as part of their Corporate Partnership for Environmental Restoration Program in Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park (MMFR AHP) on 22 September 2017 held at DENSO Canlubang, Calamba City, Laguna.  DNPH is a leading supplier of advanced automotive technology, systems and components for major automakers committed to making the world a better place through their world-first products and technologies.

Corporate Partnership for Environmental Restoration Program aims to ensure the sustainable resources protection and management of MMFR in partnership with private corporations/agencies.  DNPH is scheduled to plant 2,000 endemic and native forest tree seedlings in an open area in So. Malalim na San-og, Brgy. Sta. Elena, Sto. Tomas, Batangas on 30 September 2017.

Present during the MOA signing are DNPH President Yuji Yamamoto, DNPH Vice President for Manufacturing Division Mutsumi Furuhasi, DNPH Vice President for Corporate Division Alleli Garcia, PEZA Zone Manager Atty. Romeo Corporal, UPLBFI Project Development Officer Rolando P. Orosco and MCME Director Dr. Roberto G. Visco.
