Be inspired and boost your creativity! From the heart of Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park (MMFR AHP), we are launching #YSPtrends. The official branding of the Youth Summer Program on Environmental Education (YSP) being implemented by the Makiling Center for Mountain Ecosystems. #YSPtrends showcases the creativity of the past YSP participants. Annually, during summer, we gather students from the surrounding schools of the MMFR AHP to impact awareness and to educate them to protect and conserve the environment especially Mount Makiling.
The featured creative work in this video is a poem entitled “Pook ni Mariang Makiling” written by Jhoana P. Vicencio in 1991, one of the participants in YSP formerly Outdoor Recreation Education Program. The pictures used to interpret the message were taken at the MMFR AHP.
