In line with the Toyota’s “Adopt a Forest Project,” the Toyota Motor Philippines Foundation, Inc. Volunteers were scholars (50) of Toyota, students (30) of Lyceum of the Philippines University and staff (5) of TMPFI. Tree planting was conducted inside their adopted site and at the Toyota Palm Garden inside MBG of the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve ASEAN Heritage Park (MMFR AHP). Four hundred twenty-five (425) pieces of assorted native seedlings of different species, namely: toog, matang-araw, guijo, ipil, banuyo, makaasim, balakat-gubat, bani, kamagong, kalantas, kalumpit, arangin and malaipil; and fifteen (15) pieces of palms were planted during the event.  After the tree planting, an educational guided tour was served by one of the Educators for Nature Tourism (ENTs) Abby Grace Bermejo.
